Clients I Support

Growing up isn't always easy, and sometimes children have a hard time expressing what they're feeling or understanding what they're going through. Whether a child is struggling with big emotions, navigating relationships, experiencing changes at home or school, or simply having a difficult time being themselves, having a safe and supportive space can make a meaningful difference.

I love working with children ages 4–15 and their families, walking alongside them as they navigate life's challenges. My goal is to help children feel safe, understood, and supported as they explore their emotions, build confidence, strengthen relationships, and discover new ways to navigate the world around them.

About Mariah

I'm a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), having earned my license in 2025. I'm passionate about working with children and families and love continuing to learn, grow, and explore new ways to support the people I work with.

Outside of the therapy room, I'm a proud cat mom and a creative at heart! I enjoy expressing myself through music and art, unwinding with video games, books, and movies, and finding joy in the little things. I also love spending quiet moments outdoors, slowing down to appreciate and be inspired by the nature around me.

I value authenticity, curiosity, and fun, both in life and in the therapy space. I believe therapy can be meaningful and healing while still leaving room for laughter, imagination, and joy.

My Approach to Therapy

I believe that meaningful growth happens through connection, creativity, and play. I strive to create a space where children feel comfortable being themselves, knowing they are accepted and supported just as they are.

Play is one of the most natural ways children communicate. Sometimes, children don't have the words to explain what they're experiencing, but they can express themselves through play, imagination, and creativity. I embrace the playful side of therapy, giving children opportunities to explore their feelings, make sense of their experiences, and develop new skills in ways that feel natural to them.

My approach is grounded in connection. I also value working alongside families, recognizing that children grow and develop within the relationships and environments around them. Above all, I want children and families to leave therapy feeling supported, understood, and hopeful about the possibilities ahead.
